Scrapbook Saturday - Winter Frost

I think I missed last weeks Scrapbook Saturday, and I am very sorry to anyone who checks my blog on Saturdays for it!! I have a layout to share today that is great for using up scraps! You could change this to use different papers for each part, although I used scraps from the same piece of paper. The other thing I loved using on this page was a canvas banner from the build a banner kit! I have already made 3 banners from this kit, and decided to use the last couple of banners on my pages! The texture it gives the page is beautiful.

Scrapbook Saturday - I am Me

I got the I Am Me DSP the other week, and just finally got around to opening it! Oh wow, the pitcure in the catalogue does this paper no favours - it is gorgeous in real life!! This is a quick layout I did as I am busy busy busy getting the Christmas Extravaganza organised.

Not really Scrapbook Saturday

Hi folks, I know its now Sunday, and I don't have a layout to share with you. Life just got a little busy this week with my husband having an operation. But I do have a super cute project to show you! This is a banner I made for my sons friend. She is having her 3rd birthday party today, and I made her this banner using the new banner kit from the holiday catalogue.



Materials: Build a Banner Kit (133507), Melon Mambo (126948), Tangerine Tango(126946) and Wisteria Wonder (126985) ink, Bitty Butterfly(129406) and Elegant Butterfly(127526) punches, Melon Mambo (119980) and Tangerine Tango (116206) cardstock, Sponge Daubers (102892), random ribbon, flowers and brads from my stash.

The kit comes with the canvas banners and stencils to ink the patterns and letters. Then I raided my stash of old ribbons and flowers, added some butterflies and the included string and it was all done! How super easy is that and what a stunning result! I can't wait to make more of these!!
