Card Tuesday – Circle Card Thinlit

You + Us + 26 March = Awesome!

Have you ever wished you could stamp with the folks at Stampin' Up!'s home office? Your wish is granted--and your opportunity is coming soon! Here's the basic rundown.

Who: You! Demonstrators, customers, anyone who wants to play along.

What: This is a live, streaming event where we will stamp with the All Wrapped Up Bundle on page 6 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure. Our projects will also feature the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper. Then choose your preferred device--computer, tablet, smart phone or even hook up your computer to your TV*--and tune in to learn some fun new things to do with the bundle!

When: 26 March 2014, at 5:00 PM, 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM (all times listed are AEDT). We'll demonstrate the same projects each time, so choose the one that's best for you.

Where: You don't even have to leave home. Come to www.youtube.com/stampinupvideo at your chosen time and be prepared to stamp! We'll also award door prizes to random participants.

Why: So many occasions are coming--Easter, Mother's Day and more--and we want to help you be ready.

*Never hooked up your computer to a TV before? Do a search on YouTube and you'll find loads of instructional videos. Make sure to do a practice run before 26 March so you don't miss out on any of the party.

Scalloped Tag Topper Punch

Last week I showed you a cute little idea to use the new Scalloped Tag Punch to make a card, and today I wanted to show some other ideas on what to make with this punch.

This is really cute idea, making a card of tags. These tags are all cut in one piece allowing for the card to fold to the size of one tag. Great as a fancy card idea, or for hidden journaling on a scrapbook page.

Materials: Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (133324), Mosaic Madness stamp set (130246), Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309), Linen Thread (104199), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246), Crumb Cake (121685) and Whisper White (106549) cardstock, Crumb Cake (126975), Pistachio Pudding (131177) and Island Indigo (126986) ink, Crumb Cake Marker (120967).

How about using the punch to make a cute little wrapper for a treat. Perfect for making a little gift when you need just a little something for someone. This one is great for using up scraps of cardstock and paper!

And I think this is my favourite. Using the punch to create pretty bookmarks! Perfect for making little gifts for people!

CASEing the Catalogue

CASE means to Copy And Share Everything. Its a great way to get some inspiration if you have lost your mojo. The Stampin'Up! Catalogue is the perfect place to start when you are in the mood to CASE. I love the card on page 83 of the 13/14 Annual Catalogue and decided to give it a go. I changed it slightly to colours that I had lying on my desk, and decided to use the whole background in embossing powder, but you can see where my inspiration came from.

Materials: Wildflower Meadow stamp set (129165), Blooming with Kindness stamp set (131961), Bermuda Bay cardstock (131286), Whisper White cardstock (106549), Clear Embossing Powder (109130), VersaMark (102283), Bermuda Bay ink (131171), Brights Markers (131259).

 Then while I had out the stamp and embossing powder, I thought I would stamp and emboss a spare. After using some different techniques this is what I came up with.

Card Tuesday - Geometrical meets Owl Builder!

I have seen a few cards on the net using the cute owl punch matched with the Hooray for Today stamp from the new Geometrical stamp set and just had to try one for myself. We made this little notecard at a class last weekend, but can so easily be added to a full size card or scrap page!
