Scrapbook Saturday - London Bridge

Hi everyone, sorry for the late post. I was busy busy busy with a Stamp-a-Stack class today, and boy oh boy we had some fun again! Thanks to the lovely ladies who came today!

If you are looking for the BIG Giveaway post, you can find it here.

Today instead of just showing you a scrapbook layout, I thought I would share the process. Sorry for the bad quality photos, I didn't realise how bad they were till after I had finished, and then it was too late to take them again! I promise they will be better next time!

Here is the completed layout:

Materials: Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin Kit, Mixed Bunch Stamp Set, Pool Party Twine, Basic Grey Ink and random letters from my stash.

Start with a 12x12 sheet of Basic Grey cardstock from the Simply Scrappin Kit. Stamp 3 flowers from the Mixed Bunch stamp set in Basic Grey ink in a triangle on the cardstock. I loosely places my photos on the page to get an indication of where I would like the flowers to "poke"out from, allowing for the extra border to be placed on the left. You can achieve the same tone on tone look using Versamark ink.

Ink the edges of a few border stickers from the kit with Basic Grey and place them down the left side leaving some of the stamped image poking out. I cut half a cm off each end before adhereing to the cardstock.

Ink the edges of the journalling sticker, and some of the other label stickers. You can cut and use parts of some of the labels that will be hidden under the photos to use on another project. Wrap some Pool Party twine around one of the labels for some texture.

Cut half an inch off each side of 2 6x4 photos, and sand the edge of all 3 photos and adhere to the layout.

Ink the edges of some butterfly stickers and place them in the same triangle pattern as the stamped flowers.

Add Journalling and letters for your title and the layout is complete!

I hope you enjoyed my process for this layout and it has inspired you to do a little scrapping of your own!
