Scrapbook Saturday - CHASEY

Hi folks! Well, I am going to try something new here on my blog, a weekly feature of a scrapbook layout. Lets start with a super simple design using just 1 sheet of cardstock and one stamp set (plus a little extra). I really love this new stamp set 'Oh Hello' in the seasonal catalogue, and wanted to make it shine on this page.

 

I used a 12x12 sheet of Daffodil Delight cardstock and with the arrow outline stamp from the set and Basic Grey ink, stamped rows of arrows in different directions (with the help of my stamp-a-ma-jig of course!).

I sanded the edges of my photos and stuck them down over the arrows.

I then used the patterned arrow stamp on Whisper White cardstock offcuts with Daffodil Delight ink, cut them out and pop'd some up with dimensionals, and placed others under the photos, making sure to match then up with the outline arrows.

Finally I added a speech bubble paperclip from the seasonal catalogue and some letter stickers from my stash.

I really loved how fast and easy this layout was to complete. Why not challenge yourself today to scrap a layout using only 1 sheet of cardstock and one stamp set (with just a little extra).
